Inspired by Maharashtra’s rich heritage, this iconic piece narrates a story of strength, courage, and honor

Mumbai : Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, launched its latest regional masterpiece, ‘Rajmudra’, a 22kt jewellery piece, that recites the timeless story of Maharashtra’s history and spirit. Woven in three regal layers, this creation is a luminous tribute to the state’s pride, heritage, and cherished traditions—brought to life through the artistry of fine jewellery.

The first layer, the Vajratik Haar, shines with the iconic Chandrakor Tilak of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the timeless Vajratik Haar that embodies unyielding strength, and the glory of Shindeshahi. Just as an elephant marches forward, undeterred by storms or war, this haar carries the weight of resilience, standing as a tribute to warriors who never wavered. It’s a tribute to legacy, heritage and unmatched craftsmanship — etched in 22KT gold.

The second layer, the Simha Haar, shines with a regal symbol of Shivaji Maharaj – the majestic Simha, the eternal lion guarding freedom with fierce strength – alongside the delicate Bor Mala, like the ber fruit, symbolizing endurance and heritage— its golden beads mirroring the fruit’s resilience, binding tradition and strength into an ornament that stands the test of time and Jasmine Haar.

The third layer, the Saaj Haar, is a sacred gold thread that binds them all. Each leaf whispers a story of dharma and destiny, just as the ten avatars of Vishnu walked the earth to restore balance. It is a silent hymn to faith, to the power that shields and preserves.

Through intricate kaarigari with innovation, Rajmudra transforms historical grandeur into wearable art, ensuring each detail speaks volumes of Maharashtra’s rich culture and legacy.

With Rajmudra and recently launched Anantara, inspired by Hyderabad’s artistic heritage, Indriya embarks on a remarkable journey to honour the rich cultural diversity of India. This creation is a reflection of Indriya’s deep commitment to preserving traditional kaarigari and capturing the rich legacy of Maharashtra through timeless design.

Rajmudra marks just the beginning. Indriya is looking forward to unveiling more regional masterpieces that celebrate the soul of India.

Sandeep Kohli, CEO, Indriya said “The Rajmudra is a perfect example to highlight Indriya’s commitment to serving as custodians of India’s rich artistic and historical narratives from significant cultural hubs like Maharashtra. This dedication is realized through thoughtful design and a spirit of innovation in our techniques, ensuring these powerful stories are not just preserved but vibrantly carried forward”

Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Product Design, Research & Development, Indriya said “In the design of Rajmudra, every curve and contour is an echo of Maharashtra’s soul. We have meticulously intertwined time-honoured kaarigari with a distinctly modern sensibility, striving for a seamless harmony between heritage and contemporary elegance. This piece truly embodies Maharashtra ka gaurav, ab sone mein dhala (Maharashtra’s pride and glory, now crafted in gold)” Since its inception in 2024, the brand has expanded rapidly across the country, establishing a strong presence in the North, South, and Western regions. With a growing network of twenty-two stores—including five in Delhi, three each in Mumbai and Hyderabad, two each in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Pune, and one each in Indore, Surat, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
