Mumbai : Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) today hosted the LeadHERs in Commercial event at its Gurgaon campus, which brought together over 100 women professionals across various organizations in sales, marketing, sales support, supply chain, and finance. The one-day event themed “Breaking Barriers, Building Business,” gathered industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers to celebrate women-led breakthroughs in the commercial space, focusing on Automation, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors. The event served as a platform for women professionals to network and exchange ideas on driving transformation, fostering inclusivity, and overcoming barriers in commercial roles.
A highlight of the event was a panel discussion on “Breaking Barriers – Women Leading Commercial Excellence.” Moderated by Deepti Vij, Director, Talent Acquisition, Honeywell, industry leaders Ajay Khera, Former Commercial Head – India, Technip Energies; Shally Verma, Business Development Leader, Rockwell India; Nandini Singh, Partner & Executive Director, IBM; and Pavitra Venkatraman, Partner Development, GSI, Microsoft, came together to share their insights. The panelists discussed resilience and leadership, and shed light on how women can gain credibility in male-dominated functions and drive innovation in industries resistant to change.
The event also featured inspirational talks by Shaili Chopra, award-winning journalist and founder of SheThePeople and Gytree, and Ritu Jerath, a seasoned global leader in customer experience and digital transformation and a passionate advocate for women’s leadership. The two speakers inspired the audience with their stories of challenging the status quo and rewriting possibilities for women in business roles.
