Mumbai : As India gears up to celebrate World Tourism Day 2025, insights from Justdial, India’s no.1 local search engine, highlight a sharp revival in both domestic and international travel preferences between Jan–Aug’25 vs Jan–Aug’24.

Domestic tourism continues to be the cornerstone of India’s travel growth, recording a47% rise in searches Pan-India. Witnessing a strong consumer interest in both spiritual tourism (Chardham +73%, Kedarnath +39%, Ayodhya +40%) and leisure escapes (Kashmir +78%, Kerala +82%, Munnar +80%).
