Mumbai/ Bengaluru : Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is proud to share that Mr. Manjunatha S, a trainee from Toyota Kaushalya (Flexi MoU Scheme), has been conferred as the National Topper in the All India Trade Test conducted in October 2024 by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS). The prestigious honour was presented by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, during the Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh held on October 4, 2025, in New Delhi.  Mr. Manjunath is the only candidate from Karnataka to receive this distinction at the national level, showcasing exceptional skill, dedication, and professionalism.

Toyota Kaushalya is a two-year “Learn and Earn” program designed to equip youth with hands-on industrial experience and classroom learning. They are trained at the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) situated on the factory’s premises. The program places sixty per cent emphasis on building discipline, safety mindset, values, ethics, respect, civic sense and sustainable habits. The remaining forty per cent focuses on refining craftsmanship – the Japanese Takumi spirit of mastery and excellence in every skill trade.
