Mumbai : Easebuzz has launched Buzzing for Bharat, a platform aimed at enabling India’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to strengthen their digital capabilities and scale sustainably. The initiative commenced with the inaugural Digital Excellence Awards (DEA) 2025 held in Mumbai on October 6, 2025.
Designed as an ongoing ecosystem rather than a one-time event, Buzzing for Bharat seeks to empower MSMEs through three key pillars — recognition, access, and enablement.
- Recognition and Validation: Providing a platform for small businesses to showcase innovation and gain visibility among financial institutions, investors, and policymakers.
- Access to Capital: Creating linkages between MSMEs and funding partners, including banks, venture capital firms, and other financial institutions.
- Digital Enablement and Mentorship: Offering tools, compliance support, and expert guidance to help businesses integrate technology into their operations.
- Global Market Accelerator for MSMEs: The platform includes a Global Market Accelerator specifically designed to open doors to international trade and position Indian MSMEs for sustainable global expansion.
Commenting on the initiative, Parimal Srivendu, Group Head – Easebuzz, said,
“Buzzing for Bharat has been envisioned as a collaborative platform that brings together stakeholders from across the ecosystem to help MSMEs digitise, access growth capital, and expand globally. The Digital Excellence Awards mark the beginning of a long-term effort to drive digital inclusion and competitiveness among India’s small businesses.”
With MSMEs contributing nearly 30% of India’s GDP and employing over 110 million people, strengthening their digital and financial resilience remains central to sustaining the country’s economic momentum. Buzzing for Bharat aims to address key challenges around access to finance, digital adoption, and market linkages, while fostering inclusivity and innovation within the sector.
In the coming months, the platform will expand to include mentorship programs, capability-building sessions, and initiatives to connect MSMEs with domestic and international markets.
