Mumbai : Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the release of its comprehensive Sustainability Report 2025 (https://www.toyotabharat.com/documents/toyota-in-india/environment/tkm-sustainability-report-2025.pdf), reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable mobility solutions tailored for India’s unique developmental landscape.
The report was unveiled by Hon’ble Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka, Shri. Eshwara Khandre, in the presence of Mr. Swapnesh Maru, Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Planning & Green Field Project, Mr. Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, Senior Vice President & Head – State Affairs and other senior leadership from TKM, further highlighting the company’s role as a catalyst in India’s transition toward carbon neutrality and sustainable manufacturing excellence.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Hon’ble Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka, Shri. Eshwara Khandre, stated:
“Only when everyone understands that where there is green, there is breath, and where there is forest, there is a future, can we truly protect our planet. Today, the world is witnessing the severe impacts of global warming and climate change, and tree conservation and afforestation remain the only viable solutions. In this context, I urge all industries in the state to plant more trees within their premises, protect roadside plantations, and adopt green building practices. I also emphasize the importance of using renewable energy, conserving water, and ensuring its purification and reuse.”
Marking the unveil of the Sustainability Report, Mr. Swapnesh Maru, Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Planning & Green Field Project- Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “Our vision remains aligned with India’s COP26 Panchamrit commitments, supporting the nation’s carbon neutrality pledge while advancing Toyota’s global Environmental Challenge 2050. Toyota’s Sustainability report 2025 highlights the key initiatives towards Environment stewardship, societal responsibility and governance. TKM has been at the forefront of continues to accelerate transition toward carbon neutrality, by going beyond products, embedding sustainable practices in manufacturing operations and across their entire value chain.
