Scheduled from November 3-5, ESTIC-2025 to witness participation of over 3,000 participants from academia, research institutions, industry and government
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to unveil a massive ₹1 Lakh Crore Research Development and Innovation Scheme tomorrow, November 3, as he inaugurates the inaugural Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025) in New Delhi.
This flagship initiative, which the Prime Minister will launch, aims to fundamentally strengthen India’s research and development landscape by fostering a robust, private sector-led ecosystem. The three-day ESTIC 2025 at Bharat Mandapam will serve as a platform for this historic announcement, bringing together over 3,000 participants from across the nation’s scientific and industrial community to chart a course for innovation-driven growth.
Conceived as a premier, outcome-oriented forum, ESTIC-2025 is designed to translate the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ into actionable strategies. Under the theme ‘Imagine, Innovate, Inspire’, the conclave will unite the entire Indian innovation ecosystem, including policymakers, top scientific minds, industry leaders, academia, startups, and researchers.
The inaugural day will feature an address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, followed by a high-level plenary panel discussion on “Nurturing R&D and Innovation Ecosystem for Viksit Bharat 2047.” The day will also see plenary talks by globally renowned figures, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Andre Geim from the University of Manchester, and Fields Medalist Prof. Manjul Bhargava from Princeton University.
“ESTIC 2025 will bring together leading scientists, innovators, policymakers, and global experts to deliberate on the future of emerging technologies. It will serve as a platform to identify gaps, forge partnerships, and co-create pathways that align science and technology with India’s developmental priorities,” said Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology.
Scheduled from November 3-5, ESTIC-2025 will feature intensive discussions across 11 critical thematic areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Science, Advanced Materials, Bio-Manufacturing, Space Technologies, and Semiconductors. The programme is structured to accelerate the lab-to-market journey for disruptive innovations through plenary addresses by global experts, technical sessions, and exhibitions showcasing deep-tech startups and young innovators.
ESTIC-2025 is a collaborative initiative of the Department of Science & Technology, under the guidance of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser. The conclave brings together a powerful consortium of key government bodies, including:
