Mumbai : Wavar, one of India’s fastest-growing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) companies, has announced its strategic expansion into Madhya Pradesh through an exclusive state-level partnership with Kamdar Agro Research & Development (KARD), Indore. The partnership was formally announced in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Patidar and Mr. Kamlesh Patidar, from KARD, marking a key milestone in Wavar’s mission to make sustainable, residue-free pest management accessible to farmers across India.
Madhya Pradesh — the heart of India’s agricultural landscape — is among the country’s largest producers of soybean, pulses, wheat, and oilseeds, and has been identified as a key state under the Government’s Natural Farming and PM-PRANAM initiatives. In this context, Wavar’s entry comes at an opportune time when the state is accelerating its transition toward sustainable, low-chemical agriculture and strengthening farmer livelihoods through innovation.
Through this collaboration, Wavar and KARD will jointly implement IPM solutions across major agri belts of the state including Indore, Dhar, Ratlam, Shajapur, and Sehore, with plans to impact over 1 lakh farmers in the first phase. The partnership will focus on introducing Wavar’s full range of eco-friendly pest management products, field-level training, and digital traceability systems that help farmers reduce input costs by up to 40%, improve yields, and ensure healthier soil and food quality.
“Madhya Pradesh is one of India’s most dynamic agricultural states, and our presence here is both strategic and mission-driven,” said Mr. Joy Chakraborty, Co-founder, Wavar. “We believe that true transformation in farming happens when sustainability meets scalability. Through this partnership with KARD, we aim to build a state-wide ecosystem that delivers both productivity and purpose – where every farmer can grow profitably while protecting the land for future generations.”
Wavar’s collaboration model integrates technology, farmer engagement, and on-ground entrepreneurship through initiatives like Wavar Mitra and Wavar Saheli, ensuring deep rural penetration and stronger local ownership. The company’s data-led processes will help farmers and distributors track adoption, crop performance, and field outcomes, building accountability and trust in the system.
“Our partnership with KARD reflects our larger vision of ‘Har Gaon IPM’ – to bring Integrated Pest Management to every village in India,” said Mr. Sanjay Shirodkar, Co-founder, Wavar. “With Madhya Pradesh’s vast farming diversity and progressive leadership, this collaboration will set a benchmark for how sustainable, science-based pest management can strengthen both profitability and resilience for farmers.”
Wavar currently operates in over 10 states, empowering more than lakhs of farmers and working with 100+ FPOs and NGOs nationwide. Its expansion into Madhya Pradesh further consolidates its national presence as a leader in India’s IPM revolution, aligned with the country’s long-term vision for sustainable, self-reliant agriculture.
