Mumbai : UPL, a global provider of sustainable agricultural solutions, has achieved the highest ESG score among agricultural solutions companies in the 2025 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) powered by S&P Global. UPL is the only agricultural solutions company included in the DJSI World Index.

UPL achieved an ESG Score of 77 (out of 100) in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), significantly outperforming the Chemical sector average of 32. This recognition reflects UPL’s strong performance across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable practices.

The DJSI is a globally renowned benchmark for evaluating companies’ Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. The 2025 assessment included participation from over 13,000 companies worldwide, representing 99% of global market capitalization.

UPL’s score places it among the top global performers, underscoring its commitment to best-in-class sustainability practices that create long-term value for investors and stakeholders.
