Mumbai : Olectra Greentech Limited, a leader in India’s electric mobility revolution, has announced securing a landmark order for 1,085 electric buses. The contract, valued at approximately ₹1,800 crore, was awarded by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).

Key Highlights of the Deal:

Order Details: The fleet includes 1,025 non-AC buses and 60 AC buses (all 12-meter models) designed for intra-city transport.

The Model: The project follows the Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model, spanning a 12-year period.

Execution: Olectra’s associate, Evey Trans Private Limited (EVEY), received the Letters of Award (LOA). EVEY will procure the buses from Olectra, with deliveries scheduled over the next 20 months.

Stock Performance: Known for delivering 159% returns over the last three years, the company’s shares saw a positive rebound following the news.This order significantly strengthens Olectra’s order book and cements its position as a dominant player in the Indian EV market.
