Mumbai: HealthXchange 2026, organized by IIHMR Startups at IIHMR University, emerged as a powerful confluence of healthcare innovation, policy dialogue, and collaborative action. With participation from 30+ startups and over 50 stakeholders including hospital leaders, corporates, government officials, and CSR representatives—the event created a vibrant ecosystem focused on driving meaningful healthcare transformation in India.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr P. R Sodani, President, IIHMR University and Director, IIHMR Foundation, a leading academic and policy expert in public health and healthcare management. He emphasized the importance of aligning innovation with real-world healthcare challenges to create scalable and sustainable impact.

The first panel, “Rajasthan’s Healthcare Paradigm: Unlocking the Next Big Opportunity,” featured Dr Amit Yadav, MD, NHM Rajasthan, Dr Mona Duggal, Director, ICMR-NIRDHDS , and Dr D.K. Sharma, Medical Superintendent, Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS Delhi. Moderated by Dr Sabine Kapasi, CEO & MD, Enira Consulting , the discussion highlighted the need to strengthen primary healthcare, improve accessibility, and address fragmentation through integrated care models.

The second panel, “The Next Era of Healthcare: AI-Enabled Care and Collaborative Innovation,” featured Dr Atul Tiwari, Addl. Nodal Officer, AI/ML Policy, Department of Medical Education, Government of Rajasthan (AI policy and digital health governance), Mr Lalit Singla, Founder & CEO, SteerX and Managing Partner, SteerX Ventures (health-tech entrepreneurship and investment), and Mr Anubhav Sukwani, COO, KIMS Hospital, Mumbai . Moderated by Mr Manoj Balwani, Founder & CEO, Logiserv Global, the panel explored how AI is reshaping diagnostics, efficiency, and patient care, while emphasizing accessibility and cross-sector collaboration.

The post-lunch panel on “Leveraging CSR for Health Innovation,” moderated by Dr Ratna Verma, Associate Professor, IIHMR University (health policy and research), featured Dr Dhanshri S. Pradhan, Head – Project Operations, Cipla Foundation, Dr Anil Agarwal, Health Specialist, UNICEF (public health and international development), Dr Sarthak Bakshi, Founder, RISAA IVF , and Mr Manoj Agarwal, Senior General Manager, Ambuja Foundation. The discussion highlighted the gap between CSR fund availability and its effective utilization in healthcare, calling for structured public-private partnerships and outcome-driven approaches.

The event concluded with a startup showcase, speed networking, and high tea, fostering meaningful connections between innovators and stakeholders. HealthXchange 2026 successfully translated dialogue into direction—reinforcing the need for a collaborative, technology-driven, and inclusive healthcare ecosystem built for scale and impact.
