~Three decades of experience to lead next phase of ABD growth~

Mumbai : Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), India’s largest domestic spirits company by volume, announced that the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Amar Sinha as Managing Director (MD) Designate effective 2nd April 2026.

As Mr. Alok Gupta’s tenure as Managing Director nears completion, Mr. Amar Sinha’s appointment aligns with ABD’s strategy of value creation and long-term growth and underscores the Company’s commitment to a seamless leadership transition.

Mr. Amar Sinha brings over three decades of leadership experience across the alco beverage and consumer sectors. Over the course of his career, he has led corporations through phases of transformation and growth while building strong brands and businesses. His leadership journey includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Radico Khaitan, Managing Director at Whyte & Mackay India and executive positions at Herbertsons (UB Group) and others.

He has received several recognitions for leadership excellence, including the Rajeev Gandhi Excellence Award – Most Enterprising CEO of the Year (2015), the Make in India Excellence Award (2016), and Business Leader of the Year at the IndSpirit Awards in 2023.

With this deep-rooted expertise across sales, marketing, and business transformation, Mr. Amar Sinha is uniquely positioned to accelerate ABD’s next chapter of market leadership and growth.
