A second-generation Chandak family leader with a sharp engineering mindset, Kunal Chandak has served as Director at Vega Helmets India since August 2012, playing a pivotal role in modernising one of India’s largest and most respected helmet manufacturing operations.

Working closely with family members including Dilip and Girdhari Chandak,Uttam Chandak & younger brother Partha Chandak Kunal drives technological integration and operational excellence from the company’s Belgaum headquarters. He spearheaded the rollout of software systems for dispatches, inventory management, and accountability that transformed daily production from just 23–24 helmets in 1991 to an impressive 23,000–24,000 helmets today, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Kunal’s contributions extend across strategic growth: supporting the shift from Chinese imports to full in-house manufacturing, establishing new warehouses for rapid dealer deliveries across India, and backing international acquisitions in Spain and Canada that have strengthened Vega’s global supply chain and competitiveness.

Representing the next generation of the Chandak legacy, he bridges traditional manufacturing discipline with contemporary tools and processes, ensuring Vega remains agile, export-ready, and future-focused in an intensely competitive global market.
