The appointment furthers Table Space’s established focus on scaling digital platforms, deepening enterprise systems, and bringing greater intelligence to its workplace operations and client experience

Bengaluru, India : Table Space, one of India’s leading flexible workspace providers specializing in enterprise managed offices, today announced the appointment of Ashwin Chandrasekar as its Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO). In this role, Ashwin will focus on bringing technology deeper into the workspace journey to improve operational efficiency, strengthen control, and scale business processes. He will also drive automation across the business and lead end-user technology, making everyday workplace experiences more intuitive, from access systems and workflows to the digital tools employees rely on daily.

Ashwin brings close to two decades of experience across technology leadership, digital transformation, AI, and product engineering. At Table Space, he will lead the technology charter – spanning enterprise data engineering, software development, and physical devices and IoT across the portfolio. His experience spans India, Singapore, Chile, the US, and Canada across retail, banking, QSR, and consumer devices – including Amazon’s Alexa ecosystem. Most recently, as CTO at Third Wave Coffee, he built the technology backbone of a national specialty-coffee chain, owning software development, ERP, and POS, data engineering, AI initiatives, and automation across 200+ cafés.

Earlier in his career, he delivered enterprise e-commerce, mobile banking, and Alexa Auto products at a global scale with ThoughtWorks and Amazon. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a focus on global management and technology. Ashwin is also an entrepreneur, having founded Buybazaar, one of Chennai’s early online supermarkets.

Commenting on the appointment, Karan Chopra, Chairman & Co-CEO, Table Space, said, “At Table Space, technology has never been peripheral to the business – it is fundamental to how we have built and scaled every aspect of what we do. As we enter our next phase of growth, the ability to harness AI and data not just strategically but operationally becomes a defining advantage. Ashwin brings precisely that – a rigorous, ground-up understanding of how technology creates measurable impact at scale. We are very pleased to welcome him to the leadership team.”

On joining Table Space, Ashwin Chandrasekar, Chief Information & Technology Officer, said, “Table Space isn’t just building offices – it’s building thoughtfully designed work environments where companies can scale, teams can collaborate better, and people can focus on doing their best work. What excites me most is embedding technology into every layer of that experience – improving how decisions are made, how spaces are run, and how people interact with their environment day-to-day on a strong enterprise data engineering foundation. When great workspaces are backed by great technology, people are free to focus on what really matters: their work.”

The appointment comes at a time when large enterprises are raising their expectations of managed workspace providers, demanding greater operational efficiency, personalization, and insight from their partners. With a strong technology foundation already in place, Table Space is well-positioned to meet that demand, and Ashwin’s expertise will be integral to sustaining that edge as the company scales.
