Bengaluru: Raymond, one of India’s most iconic brands, has appointed Shalini Singh as Head of Corporate Communications, entrusting her with the group’s corporate reputation mandate. The appointment comes at a defining moment for Raymond, as the group accelerates its transformation into a diversified conglomerate with independently listed entities across Lifestyle, Real Estate, and Engineering.

In her new role, Shalini will steward the group’s reputation agenda end-to-end spanning external and internal communications, strategic communications, social media strategy, crisis management, and financial communications.

With nearly three decades of experience across corporate communications, brand strategy, reputation management, and integrated communications, Shalini brings an impeccable track record of partnering with large, listed enterprises and conglomerates. She joins Raymond after a two-year stint as an Independent Strategic Communications, Reputation, and Sustainability Advisor. Prior to that, she was Group Head – Brand & Communications at RPG Group, where she shaped communication strategy across multiple listed entities. Her earlier leadership roles include Head – Corporate Communications & Sustainability at Holcim India (ACC & Ambuja Cements), and over sixteen years at Tata Power & Renewables as Chief – Corporate Communications, CSR & Sustainability. Her career spans across pivotal roles at Accenture, Bharti Airtel, and The Arvind Mills.

Shalini holds a Master’s degree in Communications & Extension from M.S. University, Baroda, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. She has completed Executive Education programs at IIM Ahmedabad and ISB Hyderabad, and is a Certified Independent Director registered with the IICA.
