National : Mountain Dew®, the iconic beverage brand synonymous with sense of courage and adventure, has unveiled Mountain Dew® Adda Stories — a new storytelling platform that brings together friendship, micro-drama storytelling and anime-inspired visuals to celebrate the adventures that begin at the Mountain Dew® Adda. The campaign launches with its first film, along with a contest video featuring brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan, who invites viewers to spot hidden Mountain Dew® marked as “MD” in the film for a chance* to meet him.

For today’s young India, that starting point is often the Adda — where friends meet, plans get made, and someone inevitably says, “Yaar, ek kaam karte hain.” Mountain Dew® Adda Stories taps into this familiar youth reality, turning everyday hangouts, spontaneous conversations and shared dares into larger-than-life stories of courage and adventure.
With Mountain Dew® Adda Stories, the brand brings its iconic belief of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ into a fresh, digital-first storytelling format. Moving beyond traditional depictions of adventure, the campaign shifts the spotlight to the moments before the dare — the banter, the bold idea, the group of friends, and the shared dream that turns a casual plan into an unforgettable experience.
The first film follows a group of friends as they relive a daring cave expedition that begins with a conversation at a Mountain Dew® Adda. As the story builds, the film moves from live action into handcrafted, anime-inspired animation, created without the use of AI, bringing the adventure to life with a visual style that feels expressive, bold and deeply relevant to a generation fluent in anime, gaming and visual storytelling. The film then returns to the Adda, where every adventure becomes a story to be told, retold and remembered with friends.
Adding an interactive layer to the launch, Hrithik Roshan features in a contest video that challenges fans to watch the film closely and find the hidden Mountain Dew® marked as “MD” placed across the story. Viewers who correctly spot all the marks stand a chance* to meet Hrithik Roshan, making the viewing experience as exciting and engaging as the adventure itself.
