Mumbai : International Gemological Institute Limited (IGI), one of the world’s largest independent grading and accreditation services providers, reported strong performance for the quarter-ended June 2026.

The company has reported 23% growth in revenues and 29% growth in EBITDA for the quarter, driven by strong growth momentum across all its key business segments, viz, loose stones, jewelry and colored gemstone certification.

Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter was reported at INR 3,708 Mn and EBITDA at INR 2,238 Mn. The EBITDA Margins in Q1 FY27 stood at 60% (+270 bps) as compared to 58% in Q1 FY26. PAT for the period was reported at INR 1,657 Mn, a growth of 31% on a year-on-year basis. PAT Margins stood at 45% (+260 bps) for the quarter.

Commenting on results, Mr. Tehmasp Printer, Managing Director and CEO of IGI said,  “IGI has commenced FY27 from a position of strength, with Q1 consolidated revenue up 23% and PAT up 31% year-on-year, with broad-based momentum across Lab Grown Diamond (LGD) loose stones, LGD jewelry and coloured gemstones. The natural diamond segment remains a key strategic pillar, and we continue to pursue market share through new customer acquisition and deeper engagement with existing clients.

Investments in our US business are gaining traction, and we commenced operations in Italy as we continue to evaluate opportunities for geographic expansion. In parallel, we are investing in the IGI brand, in our teams, and in artificial intelligence and automation to enhance service quality and turnaround times. These investments position the Company to scale efficiently, and we remain confident of sustaining this momentum through the year.
