- Retail Portion Subscribed 6.46 Times on Day 1
Mumbai: The Initial Public Offering of Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited was subscribed 5.94 times on the first day of bidding, demonstrating strong demand from retail and non-institutional investors for this IPO.
The issue received bids of 9,01,15,350 equity shares against the offered 1,51,81,667 equity shares, according to data available on the stock exchanges.
Retail Portion and Non-institutional investors portion were subscribed 6.46 times and 12.51 times respectively. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) was subscribed 0.05 times whereas employee reserved portion was subscribed 9.43 times.
The issue kicked off for subscription on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and will close for subscription on Monday, August 24, 2026.
A day before the opening of the issue, Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited had raised nearly Rs 194.5 crore from anchor investors.

Anand Rathi highlights the company is a diversified industrial technology company engaged in the design, manufacturing and supply of temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions and specialised cables.
On the valuation front, at the upper price band, the issue is at an implied P/E of 35.4 and EV/EBITDA of 25.64 on FY26 earnings. Recommend “Subscribe – Long Term”.
BP Wealth highlights the company is a thermal engineering and specialised cable manufacturer with over three decades of experience, designing and manufacturing customised temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions, and specialised cables.
On the valuation front, at the upper price band of Rs 300, the issue is valued at approximately 36 times FY26 diluted EPS of Rs 8.3. Recommend “Subscribe” for long-term.
