Thane: KORUM Mall, Thane's favourite destination, recently hosted a vibrant and joyous Garba Raas for its visitors. Bright lights covering the hallways and traditional music at its best evoked a joyous and celebratory atmosphere. People flocked to the celebration in large numbers to present their special dance moves on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, a nine-day celebration that symbolises the triumph of good over evil.
People had queued in early to claim their registration waiting for their cue to start dancing on vibrant beats which began from 8 p.m. onwards setting the perfect tone for the evening. Participants of all age group passionately partook in the competition for the event Title of Garba King, Queen, prince and princess. There were numerous prizes other than the main prize that were lined-up for the participants adding to the overall excitement of the event.
It was a spectacle to see the excitement with which everyone including young and old alike. Lots of mall patrons were busy enjoying music and cheering the participants who danced their heart out. Prizes were distributed for the best dressed and the best performances featuring age categories and prizes for participants of all ages from 5-12, 13-20, 21-32, 35+, and senior citizens, each showcasing impressive talent and energy.
