NATIONAL : Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), one of India’s leading FMCG companies, reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a 'World Without Waste’ this Gandhi Jayanti by responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's clarion call of "One Date One Hour Together". HCCB orchestrated an expansive cleanliness campaign across 11 pivotal regions in India, encompassing its operational facilities as well as high-traffic zones.

The selected locales for this mission comprised Jakkur Lake & Bidadi in Bangalore; Pirangut in Pune; Carter Road and Marve Beach in Mumbai; Goblej and Sanand in Ahmedabad; Pilukhedi in Bhopal; Goa; Patna; Turbhe Railway Station in Navi Mumbai; and Wada in Palghar. This endeavour witnessed the proactive involvement of HCCB's employees, as well as the local communities. Furthermore, the company joined forces with partners such as Y4D Foundation, ReCircle, Gem Enviro Management Pvt. Ltd., and The Shakti Plastic Industries.

Through these consolidated efforts, HCCB and the partnered local authorities succeeded in amassing over 600 kilograms of waste, significantly enhancing the environmental quality of the targeted areas.
