A campaign that educated over 2500 school students and staff members
Mumbai: As part of its ongoing commitment to road safety, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently conducted a road safety awareness campaign in Alibag, Maharashtra. This initiative educated over 2,500 students and staff members from Indian Education Society reinforcing HMSI’s dedication to fostering responsible road behavior among young individuals.
Recognizing the influential role of youth in shaping road safety culture, HMSI aims to instill safe habits through engaging and interactive programs. Through interactive and engaging programs, the company aims to significantly reduce road accidents and foster responsible road usage. These campaigns are held regularly across schools, colleges, and institutions, both government and non-government, to reach a broad audience.
The Alibag road safety awareness campaign featured a variety of activities aimed at making road safety education both comprehensive and interactive. Participants took part in theoretical safety riding lessons, danger prediction training, road safety quizzes, helmet awareness sessions, and practical Riding Trainer exercises. Each activity was tailored to make road safety education both informative and engaging, ensuring that the lessons learned would have a lasting impact.
HMSI extends its gratitude to Indian Education Society in making this initiative a success. The collaboration underscores the shared commitment to creating safer roads and reducing traffic accidents.
Since inception, in the state of Maharashtra, HMSI has imparted education to nearly 3 lakh adults and children, focusing on promoting responsible road usage and cultivating safe riding habits. This campaign in Alibag adds another milestone to HMSI’s ongoing efforts to make India’s roads safer for all.
