Showcasing a Curated Coffee Experience with Origin Indian Flavors and Techniques
For the first time in India, Starbucks introduces an exclusive menu that celebrates the diverse flavours of India's coffee heritage. New signature beverages like the Malabar Coconut Cream Latte, inspired by Kerala's unique culinary profile; the Cinnamon Jaggery Latte with Organic Jaggery sourced from Maharashtra; and Cocoa Birds Eye Chilli Latte inspired from the land of Meghalaya and a Tamarind Red Peroo Shikanji Cold Brew offering a twist to one of India's most loved beverages. Each drink is meticulously crafted to delight the growing community of coffee enthusiasts across India, blended with flavors from different geographies throughout the country.
The store will feature an extensive selection of coffee products, including five exclusive espresso bean choices and thirteen whole bean options in light, medium, and dark roasts sourced from coffee origin regions, including India, Kenya, Sumatra, and Latin America. For a truly exceptional experience, the store will offer beans from across the world, including the exclusive Starbucks Willow Blend, Starbucks® Single-Origin Zambia, Starbucks® Single-Origin Colombia, Starbucks Pike Place Roast, and Starbucks® House Blend-much loved by coffee connoisseurs. Customers can also select their preferred espresso beans and flavor profiles, experiencing their cappuccino or latte with beans of their choice.
At the Punjabi Bagh store, customers can personalize their coffee experience and enjoy their favorite blends in a variety of ways. In addition, a first for Starbucks in India, the store will feature the AeroPress brewing method, inviting customers to sample coffee brewed in this method.
Specially Crafted In-Store Food Offerings
The Punjabi Bagh store will debut an array of innovative food offerings, including scrambled eggs, freshly grilled sandwiches, and the classic Starbucks food offerings of croissants and puffs. All croissants, breads, puffs, and cookies would be freshly baked in the store. This new menu complements the exceptional coffee experience with elevated food options.
A Design Experience Rooted in Local Community and Craftsmanship
The store's design pays ode to coffee farms around the globe, with decor elements celebrating diverse coffee regions and roast profiles. The artwork depicts two sirens mirroring each other – one youthful, representing the past, while the other is flourishing and prosperous, holding a branch of vibrant red coffee cherries and looking back at a reflection of herself with a smile of appreciation and gratitude of the journey she has taken to arrive here and looking hopeful towards a joyous upcoming future. Furthermore, the jewellery that adorns the siren is inspired by traditional jewellery from Punjab. Surrounding the sirens are floral motifs inspired by Punjabi embroidery and carvings from ancient buildings, along with deer, symbolic of rich fauna and resilience in the forests, similar to those found in classical construction.
The artwork welcomes customers into the world of Starbucks – diverse flavours, aromas, coffee craft, and excellence. The store also features exclusive uniforms for partners, reflecting its unique identity. An immersive coffee zone invites customers to explore the depths of coffee craftsmanship.
