Mumbai: The government of Maharashtra recently announced night curfews and strict lockdown-like regulations across the state in a bid to curb the rising second wave of the COVID1-9 pandemic. While the government expressed theirsituation of being left with no other option, businesses are preparing to tackle the newly imposed regulations to retain their recovery so far. To stay fully equipped to handle a lockdown-like scenario, ANS Commerce has taken extensive measures such as planning backup manpower with the help of third-party agencies, ensuring regular temperature checks for team members, and providing cab services for the team for travel to and from the warehouses. The companyhas also revised warehouse timings and will now be operating from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, aligned logistics partners and marketplaces for the pickup timings, and is updating list of serviceable pin codes on alternate days.
Furthermore, ANS Commerce is staying equipped to handle the situation by ensuring that all stock coming to Mumbai warehouseis reaching during the first half of the day and unloaded by 5:00 PM.The companyhas also secured authorization letters for its employees for unrestricted movement. The fast-growing platform has left no stone unturned to ensure it is fully prepared to weather the storm by tying up for regular RT-PCR tests for employees and also plans to commence vaccination drives for warehouse employees for seamless operations.
