- Six TAS students win 1 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals in the Tournament
- Selected for Afro-Asian International Endurance Championship

 
Students of The Academy School (TAS) Pune shone bright at the Endurance National Championship 2024-25, winning 10 medals. Of the seven students who participated in Endurance sports, six of them collectively won 1 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals.

Notably, they have also been selected for the upcoming Afro-Asian International Endurance Championship in the Philippines. For the unversed, Endurance is a sport played using skating equipment, and more than 20 countries play the sport.

Among the medal winners, Arya Shinde won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze, Aahna Kulkarni won 2 Bronze, Nappinai R won 2 Bronze, Srinivas Aravalli won 1 Bronze, Deevya Sarkar won 1 Bronze, and Keerthishree R won 1 Bronze, respectively. In the tournament, students competed at district, state, and national levels.

The trainers at TAS provided hour-long dedicated training sessions for the sport before and after school hours. "This is a remarkable feat and something to be proud of. We at TAS promote all sports and recreation practices. The trainers at TAS are equipped with world-class knowledge of sports around the world and are committed to improving the sports scene of India in sports other than the famous ones," said Dr. Maithili Tambe, CEO of TAS.
