Mumbai : Birla Opus Prime, the institutional brand of Birla Opus Paints, housed under Aditya Birla Group’s Grasim Industries, today announced the launch of a new brand campaign that marks an industry-first initiative where an institutional paint brand moves beyond product-led communication to tell a deeply human, aspiration-driven story.
Rooted in the belief that functional excellence alone is no longer enough, the film highlights how institutional spaces today are reflections of vision, credibility, and long-term commitment to quality. With ‘Perfection Always’ as its guiding philosophy, Birla Opus Prime positions itself as a partner for institutions that see perfection not as a destination, but as a continuous pursuit.
The film follows the journey of two passionate badminton players who open an academy driven by ambition but struggle to attract students. The reason for this is the building’s shabby exterior, as it fails to reflect the quality of training inside. This is when an architect friend points out that the real challenge lies in perception, they turn to Birla Opus Prime, leading to a striking transformation of the academy into a refined, professional space.
The renewed appearance reshapes how the institution is viewed, driving higher enrolments, building credibility and restoring confidence in the founders’ vision. The film reinforces the belief that in the institutional ecosystem, finishes define perception, and perception drives growth.
Inderpreet Singh, Head – Marketing, Birla Opus Paints, said, “With Birla Opus Prime, we wanted to shift the conversation in institutional paints from specifications to philosophy. ‘Perfection Always’ reflects the mindset of professionals like builders, contractors, architects and project owners who never settle and believe that visible quality builds trust and fuels long-term success. This film is our way of showcasing how paint can be a catalyst for growth, credibility and ambition.”
