Mumbai : BluPine Energy, one of India’s leading renewable energy developers, has secured 150 MW capacity under SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 GW (6 GWh) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction. This is a landmark tender aimed at supplying assured peak-hour renewable power integrated with energy storage solutions.

The project was awarded to Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), at a competitive tariff of ₹6.75/kWh.

“This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio,” said Mr. Neerav Nanavaty, CEO, BluPine Energy. “As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability. Our focus remains on deploying proven technologies, robust storage integration, and operational excellence to deliver on our commitments.”

The awarded capacity will supply firm renewable power during critical peak hours (00:00 to 08:00 and 17:00 to 24:00 daily), strengthening grid stability and enabling utilities to meet surging evening and morning demand through clean energy sources. The 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) provides long-term visibility and reinforces BluPine Energy’s expanding national portfolio.

This win further accelerates BluPine Energy’s ambition to build a 4+ GW portfolio of solar, wind, and hybrid projects by FY2027. With a growing pipeline of solar-wind-storage assets, the company continues to position itself as a key partner in India’s energy transition and in delivering bankable, dispatchable clean power for utilities and industries alike.
