Milestone sparks witty replies from top Indian brands, celebrating consistency in everyday life
Mumbai : India’s leading fitness and wellness brand cult has hit a major milestone in its mission to build India’s fitness culture: one million people who have built and sustained a fitness habit on the platform. To celebrate, the brand chose to keep it humorous, social and rooted in community.
On November 4, cult kicked off a fun Instagram banter with a simple prompt: “You know someone is one in a million when they ______.”
The thread quickly filled with brand voices. Razorpay replied, “You know someone is one in a million when they pay you on time. Without a gentle reminder email.” Naukri.com commented, “You know someone is one in a million when they push you to apply for that role you actually deserve.” Tata Soulfull shared, “You know someone is one in a million when breakfast isn’t breakfast till you both crunch together.” Amazon Music India added, “You know someone is one in a million when they share playlists instead of paragraphs.” Uber India said, “You know someone is one in a million when they do not cancel the ride after the driver has arrived.” Croma Retail posted, “You know someone is one in a million when they click your 150 pictures and still do not complain.” Adidas India joined in with, “You know someone is one in a million when they join you on your morning run.”
Beyond these, several brands, including Vodafone Idea, Snitch, Bewakoof, Nasher Miles, Lee Jeans India, PayU India, Speedo India, Savana, Grabnuvie, The Health Factory, Dehaat Honest Farms and Super Money participated, drawing the conversation into a broad, multi-category celebration. cult co-founder Rishabh Telang and cultstore also joined the comments, adding a warm internal voice to the banter. cult also responded to each one of them with witty, playful replies, further fueling the conversation.
Each response added a slice of personality, playfulness and everyday relatability to the milestone moment.
Speaking on the celebration, cult CEO Naresh Krishnaswamy, said, “This milestone is not about scale alone. It represents commitment, routine and everyday effort. We wanted to celebrate with a tone that felt natural to our community, and social banter became the right format for it. The replies were fun, but they also grounded a serious truth: building a fitness habit is no small feat, and a million people have done it with us.”
He said cult will continue to drive a modern, community-led narrative around fitness in India.
