Major Milestone to Support State’s Green Mobility Drive; Expected to Reduce 5.7 Lakh Tonnes of CO Emissions Annually

Mumbai : EcoFuel, a leader in sustainable fuel solutions for the automotive sector has secured a landmark order to convert 850 diesel buses to CNG in Tamil Nadu, under the state’s ambitious clean transport initiative. This large-scale retrofit project will be executed over the next 12 months, positioning Tamil Nadu as a national leader in sustainable public transport.

This win cements Eco Fuel Systems’ leadership in the diesel-to-CNG conversion space, delivering significant cost savings and environmental benefits to transport undertakings. With this order, EcoFuel Systems’ total converted fleet in India will cross 1500 buses, making it one of the largest players in the segment.

EcoFuel will retrofit buses in multiple State Transport Depots across Tamil Nadu using its certified CNG conversion kits. The company’s advanced technology ensures seamless integration, high safety standards, and optimal fuel efficiency backed by over 2 decades of experience in the retrofitment and clean fuel space.
