Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and users, today announced Binance Demo Trading for spot and futures, a new simulated trading experience to introduce a brand new learning environment for users of all levels to lower the barriers of entry to crypto. Since its beta launch two months ago, over a quarter of a million users have already tried Binance Demo Trading.
Binance Demo is upgraded from Binance Futures Mock Trading with new enhancements, to offer users a unified learning feature for both spot and derivatives trading. The new feature offers a streamlined, refreshed design that makes it easier than ever for users to navigate and learn in a risk-free environment, and progress more seamlessly to real trading. In response to demand, users in markets supported by Binance can access Binance Demo after registering for a user account and immediately start learning, even if waiting for their KYC to be approved to live trade.
“Our new Binance Demo Trading feature emphasizes simplicity, ease of use and offers a simulated trading environment experience without using real funds so it is ideal for beginners. At the same time, existing and even advanced users can also benefit from experimenting with products or strategies they may not have tried before, before moving on to real trading,” commented Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance. “Amid the market excitement about crypto adoption, Binance is reinforcing its commitment to make crypto accessible to users of all levels around the world, so everyone can learn and progress at their own pace.”
Users will be provided with a realistic simulation of spot and futures trading interfaces, helping them become comfortable with order types, charts, and platform features. The Binance API functionality has been integrated in Demo Trading, so users can practice placing orders via API within the Demo Trading environment. Users will also start with $5,000 and $16,800 in virtual funds for spot and futures respectively, and can reset their spot and futures virtual funds back to the original starting amounts.
Binance Demo Trading offers users the following benefits:
- Learning experience using virtual funds: Users can practice trading with virtual funds, allowing them to learn and experiment without any financial risk.
- Hands-on time with trading tools: Demo Trading provides a realistic simulation of spot and futures trading interfaces, helping users become comfortable with order types, charts, and platform features.
- Build confidence before real trading: Enables users to develop and test trading strategies in a safe environment, boosting their confidence before committing real capital.
- Lowers the barrier to entry: Designed for beginners and experienced traders alike, offering a supportive space to sharpen their skills and explore new products.
Users can start exploring the new Binance Demo Trading today. Availability of spot or futures demo trading would correspond to the availability of the actual trading product across the various markets.
