Mumbai/Bangalore : Olive by Embassy, the tech-forward hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has launched Open Hotels, the world’s first fully remote-operated, AI-native hotel brand. Designed to transform the economics of budget-to-midscale hotels, Open is now available via two models: Franchise and Full Management.

“We were the first to run hotel receptions through video conferencing. Once we layered in Voice AI and analytics, guest satisfaction and profit margins surged,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy. “The tech was too powerful to keep to ourselves so we’re now offering it under Open Hotels. We have already signed 12 hotels and live across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada and Chikmagalur.”

Two Models. One Tech Stack.

Hotel owners can:

  • Franchise: Manage their own staff while accessing Open’s full tech stack.
  • Fully Outsource: Let Open run operations via its remote AI command centre.

In both cases, deployment is plug-and-play and CapEx-free.

Remote Reception, Optimized Operations

Open replaces front desks with live video reception, handled centrally. Operational staff remain onsite, but overall staff-to-room ratio drops from 0.7 to 0.3 – a 57% efficiency gain. “We use fewer people and deliver more service,” said Yigit. “This is hospitality, reprogrammed.”

Moreover, we have filed a patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for our innovative Remote Hotel Management System.

Voice AI = Real-Time Guest Intelligence

Voice AI monitors all spoken guest interactions at the reception (GDPR/DPDP-compliant). If dissatisfaction is sensed, remote teams are alerted instantly allowing Open to intercept and elevate the guest journey in real time. Audio-video analytics and predictive housekeeping round out a system that delivers more situational awareness with fewer people.

From India to the World

With 2.5 million hotel rooms, India is primed to produce a 1M-room hotel brand. Open aims to lead that charge – while exporting India’s top hospitality talent remotely, via fibre optics, at 67% the speed of light. “No planes. No visas. Just real-time hospitality from Bangalore to the world,” said Yigit.
