Collaboration focuses on secure, scalable banking technology solutions ~

Mumbai : Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s leading public sector bank, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), a premier Government of India R&D institution under the Ministry of Communications, to reinforce PNB’s IT infrastructure and fast-track its technology transformation journey. This collaboration will enable faster, more reliable, and customer-centric digital services.

The signing ceremony took place at C-DOT Headquarters, New Delhi, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries. PNB was represented by Shri Manish Agrawal, GM, Shri Surendra Vishwakarma, GM, Shri Manish Sharma, DGM along with senior executives from the Bank, while C-DOT was led by Dr.Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO C-DOT, Dr.Pankaj Kumar Dalela, EVP1, C-DOT, Ms. Shikha Srivastava, EVP2, C-DOT and Shri Rajeev Kumar, Registrar, C-DOT along with other senior officials.

Under the MoU, C-DOT will offer specialized IT products and services, enabling faster deployment of advanced, indigenous solutions tailored to the banking sector’s needs. The collaboration aims to deliver robust, secure, and regulatory-compliant solutions that will reinforce PNB’s digital backbone, improve operational resilience, and support innovation in customer services.

Under this partnership, C-DOT will offer a comprehensive suite of solutions, which include Switching and Routing, wireless technology, software applications, cyber security solutions, quantum communication solutions and other applications.

C-DOT will provide end-to-end support including solution design, integration, deployment, operational assistance, and ongoing maintenance—ensuring secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant as well as contemporary IT capabilities aligned with PNB’s strategic priorities.
