Ashish Limaye had another successful outing at his recent international competition in Italy!

Ashish Limaye rode to Gold and Bronze at the FEI Eventing Competition Montelibretti 2026, which was held at Montelibretti, Italy from 13th – 15th March.

Riding Easy Turn, Ashish won the Gold Medal in the CCI 2 Long Format (CCI 2L)** with a score of 30.2. The competition saw 15 Entries from 5 Nations – India, Japan, Korea, Spain & Italy.

In the CCI 2 Short Format (CCI 2S)***, he won the Bronze Medal on Willy Be Dun with a score of 32. There were 66 Riders in this category from 9 Nations which included United States, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden & Ecuador.

Ashish Limaye said “Riding at Montelibretti was amazing! To be able to go head-to-head with so many talented riders from around the world was fantastic. I’m really happy with Easy Turn’s and Willy Be Dun’s results. Wins like these don’t just happen overnight, it’s the training we put in day in and day out with our teams that create these opportunities for us. I am looking forward to my next competitions and taking on the next level.”

The competitions were run on the international FEI calendar at the two-star level and although not Asian Games qualifying competitions, they will provide good experience ahead of Ashish’s next step up in competition level to CCI 3*.

Ashish also rode to an MER on D’Avril du Pinier which puts him at 2/3 MER’s needed to qualify for the FEI World Equestrian Games, one of the biggest equestrian competitions in the world.

Ashish who is an instructor and sponsor rider at the Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), regularly competes in top-level international competitions representing India and consistently puts in excellent results in the sport.

His latest achievements once again place the Indian flag high on the global equestrian stage, underscoring the steady rise of Indian talent in international eventing.
