Mumbai : BluPine Energy today announced the release of its Sustainability Report for FY 2024–25, marking a significant step forward in its journey towards building a responsible, future-ready renewable energy platform. The report highlights the company’s continued focus on delivering measurable environmental impact, strengthening social responsibility, and embedding robust governance practices across its operations.

Driving Measurable Climate and Operational Impact
During FY 2024–25, BluPine Energy generated 1,469,595 MWh of renewable electricity, contributing to the avoidance of approximately 1,043,412 tons of CO₂ emissions. This performance underscores the company’s growing role in supporting India’s transition to a low-carbon energy system.
A key milestone in the year was the achievement of carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, enabled through the retirement of offsets generated from its own facilities. This reflects a clear shift from intent to measurable climate action.
Operational efficiency and sustainability innovation continued to be central to performance. 83% of operational sites adopted robotic cleaning systems, resulting in an 8.8% reduction in water consumption intensity, demonstrating the company’s commitment to optimising resource use while scaling operations.
Strengthening Social Impact and Governance Frameworks
BluPine Energy maintained a strong focus on safety and workforce well-being, reporting zero fatal incidents during the year, supported by 39,547 hours of safety training.
Beyond operations, the company expanded its community engagement footprint through 1,000+ CSR initiatives, conducting 99 community consultations, and reaching 73,857 beneficiaries across multiple regions. These efforts reflect a structured and inclusive approach to community development.
Skill development remained a key pillar of its social impact strategy. During the year, over 1,000 individuals were trained across 23 training centres, achieving a 79% post-training employment rate, with 45% women participation, reinforcing the company’s commitment to inclusive growth and livelihood generation.
BluPine Energy also upheld strong governance standards, reporting zero cases of corruption, bribery, or data breaches, along with zero breaches of the Code of Conduct. Further strengthening its global ESG alignment, the company became a signatory to the UN Global Compact.
Responsible sourcing continued to be a priority, with 99.9% of procurement spend directed towards local suppliers, while 80% of significant suppliers were assessed on ESG parameters, supporting both local economic development and supply chain accountability.
Scaling a Future-Ready Renewable Platform
BluPine Energy continues to expand its renewable footprint with over 1.5 GW of operational capacity, alongside a long-term ambition to build a 4+ GW renewable energy platform in India. The company remains focused on integrating sustainability into every stage of its growth, from project development to operations and stakeholder engagement.
