Bonfiglioli Transmissions Limited, one of India’s largest technology-led mechanical and electro-mechanical power transmissions and industrial drive solutions providers, strengthens its Board of Directors with the appointment of Ravindra Pisharody as Chairperson and Independent Director, along with Sundaresan Ananthanarayanan and Rossella Schiavini as Independent Directors. These appointments reflect the Company’s continued focus on strengthening governance, leadership depth, and strategic oversight. The Bonfiglioli brand is globally trusted, with a 70-year presence in 80 countries.

The Company has elevated Ravindra Pisharody as Chairperson and Independent Director. He has been in the company since 2018 and he brings a distinguished leadership profile and deep industry expertise spanning over three decades. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering, he also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta and has over 36 years of experience in marketing, sales, and the consumer industry.

Over the course of his career, Pisharody has held senior leadership roles with leading organizations including Philips India Limited, BP India Private Limited, BP Singapore Pte Ltd, and Tata Motors Limited. He has also served as an Independent Director on the boards of several reputed companies for over eight years, contributing strategic oversight and strong governance practices. As of 31 December 2025, he holds directorships in Happy Forgings Limited, Kinara Capital Private Limited, Kwality Walls India Limited, Muthoot Finance Limited, Savita Greentec Limited and Savita Oil Technologies Limited.

Bonfiglioli has also appointed Sundaresan Ananthanarayanan as Independent Director, effective February 2026. He brings a strong technical foundation, holding a Diploma in Electrical Engineering as well as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, enabling a comprehensive understanding of industrial systems, operations, and engineering-led businesses. Prior to joining Bonfiglioli, he was associated with Ammann India Pvt. Ltd, where he played a key role in supporting operational excellence and contributing to the company’s growth within the infrastructure and industrial equipment sector. His experience working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams adds practical, on-ground perspective to board-level deliberations. As of 31 December 2025, he holds a directorship in Ammann India Pvt. Ltd and does not hold any directorships in foreign body corporates.

The Company has further appointed Rossella Schiavini as Independent Director, effective February 2026. She brings significant international experience spanning corporate governance, finance, and strategic leadership. She holds a Master of Science in Politics of the World Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. With over seven years of experience serving on boards of directors across multiple organizations, she has built a strong track record in governance excellence, risk management, and strategic decision-making. Her previous professional associations include Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A. and BPER Banca S.p.A., where she contributed to organizational growth, operational oversight, and long-term value creation.
