- Cooperative entrepreneurs/ enterprises from 19 states are participating in NABARD Sahakar Haat

New Delhi: The inauguration of “NABARD Sahakar Haat 2025 themed ‘सहकार से व्यवसाय तक – नाबार्ड के साथ’, was held at State Emporia Complex, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place on 15 December 2025. This eight-day event, running from 13 to 20 December 2025, features more than 50 stalls from 15+ states with a special emphasis on organic products and traditional crafts that reflect our nation’s rich cultural heritage.
The inauguration of the event was graced by Shri Ravinder Indraj Singh, Cooperation Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Shri K Mahesh, IAS, MD, Delhi Khadi & Village Industries Board (DKVIB), Shri Rajesh Kumar, GM & Convenor SLBC Delhi, and Shri Nabin Kumar Roy, General Manager/OIC, NABARD, New Delhi Regional Office. Dr. Sudhir Mahajan IAS (Retd.) Chief Executive of NCUI, Shri Manoj Kumar Bansal, DMD, National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and other dignitaries also graced this inauguration day of NABARD Sahakar Haat.
During the inauguration, Shri Ravinder Indraj Singh appreciated the efforts of NABARD to showcase vibrant contributions of cooperatives across India, especially in the sectors of handloom, handicrafts, agri-produce, and other rural enterprises and promote organic products, GI-tagged crafts and sustainable rural livelihoods.
Shri Nabin Kumar Roy said, “Through this initiative, we are working to strengthen the rural economy and support the social and economic upliftment of artisans. When artisans and farmer shine, India shines. This Haat not only preserves tradition but also provides a platform for empowerment for rural youth and craftsmen.”
The objective of this exhibition is to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and Geographical Indication (GI) products on a single platform. During this exhibition, products range from Handloom silk sarees, Kachchh embroidery, terracotta crafts, organic spices, millets, dry fruits andtraditional art forms likeAipan Art. Emphasis has been given on branding eco-friendly productsand heritage crafts.
Visitors to the Sahakar Haat have the opportunity to explore and purchase a variety of products as each stall tells the story of India’s tradition, sustainability, and age-old artistry from 19 participating states including Assam, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Manipur, Telangana, and more.
