Mumbai: ROINET Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading Corporate Business Correspondent (CBC), inaugurated three BC Sakhi Centres across New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The initiative reinforces its commitment to women-led financial inclusion and last-mile banking access. Each centre is expected to serve over 3,000 customers while creating direct livelihood opportunities for women BC Sakhis, with an earning potential of ₹8,000 to ₹50,000 per month.
The initiative contributes to broader national goals such as Digital India by promoting digital transactions and financial literacy at the grassroots level, while also offering strong income growth opportunities through consistent service delivery and community engagement. With over 1,500 BC Sakhis deployed by ROINET nationwide, the company continues to enable women’s financial independence in line with the Government of India’s Lakhpati Didi Yojana.
Three BC Sakhi Centres, representing both urban and rural India, were inaugurated across New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra in partnership with Punjab & Sind Bank and Nainital Bank. In New Delhi, the centre, inaugurated by Mr. Sameer Mathur, MD & CEO, ROINET Solutions, caters to migrant workers, street vendors, and small businesses.
BC Sakhi Centres serve as last-mile banking touchpoints, delivering essential financial services using digital tools such as micro-ATMs, biometric scanners, and mobile banking applications. These services include account opening, balance enquiry, cash deposits and withdrawals, fund transfers, ATM transactions, passbook printing, pension disbursement, MGNREGA wage payments, and assistance with loan applications bringing convenient and reliable banking access directly to communities.
ROINET is also strengthening women-led entrepreneurship by providing a robust platform for women Customer Service Points (CSPs) to drive sustainable employment at the grassroots. The company currently empowers over 24,000 women CSPs across India, collectively driving a Gross Transaction Value (GTV) of over 1 billion $ with women managing 22% of its total service outlets. This growing network not only enhances last-mile financial access but also enables women to become active contributors to local economies through consistent income generation and community engagement.
Commenting on the initiative, Sameer Mathur, Managing Director & CEO, ROINET Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, “At ROINET, we believe financial inclusion begins at the grassroots, and empowering women is central to driving meaningful change. The launch of these BC Sakhi Centres reflects our commitment to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities while expanding access to formal banking for underserved communities. With the right ecosystem and consistent engagement, BC Sakhis have the potential to earn up to ₹1 lakh per month, making this not just an access model but a pathway to financial independence. We remain focused on scaling this model to many more communities across India.”
With the inauguration of these three centres, ROINET continues to strengthen its BC Sakhi network across the country. Operating as a Corporate Business Correspondent for leading scheduled commercial banks, the company plays a key role in advancing financial inclusion by bridging the gap between banking institutions and underserved communities.
