Maharashtra : Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) marked its presence at the Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable mobility, responsible manufacturing, and youth empowerment through skilling initiatives in Maharashtra. Toyota’s participation at the Expo highlights the potential of Flex-fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV) technology. The pavilion also reflected TKM’s focused approach toward industry collaboration and technology awareness, aligned with India’s energy transition goals.
The Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026 is one of the largest industry expos in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and the Marathwada region, held once every three years. The event is organized by MASSIA (Marathwada Association of Small-Scale Industries and Agriculture), a leading industry body, in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra.
At the Technology Pavilion, TKM presented a curated display of its advanced vehicle technologies including the HyCross Flexi-Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (FFV SHEV). This underscored TKM’s approach, reflecting a philosophy centered on multi-pathway approach towards achieving carbon neutrality that balances sustainable mobility.
Further strengthening engagement at the Expo, TKM conducted a session on Toyota Culture for representatives from industry and educational institutions. The session highlighted TKM’s core values of quality-led manufacturing, continuous improvement, skill development, and customer centric leadership, aimed at deepening long-term partnerships in Maharashtra.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra, further strengthening their partnership with the Government to support the development of a structured and scalable skilling ecosystem across the state, with a focus on strengthening Industrial Training Institutes. Additionally, as part of its CSR focus on education, TKM has upgraded infrastructure and learning facilities in 11 government schools in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, contributing to improved educational environments for local communities.
