Lucknow : OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), the broadband vertical of Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGS), part of the Hinduja Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Transformation Commission (STC), Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP), for the rollout of Project GANGA (Government Assisted Network for Growth & Advancement), a large-scale digital inclusion initiative in the state.
The MoU was signed by Sh. Manoj Kumar Singh, CEO, STC, and Vynsley Fernandes, Whole-Time Director, HGS and MD & CEO, OIL, in the presence of Sh. Suresh Kumar Khanna, the honourable Minister for Finance & Parliamentary Affairs, senior officials from the Finance Ministry, STC and other dignitaries.
Project GANGA is focused on empowering youth, enabling 8,000-10,000 local entrepreneurs at the Nyaya Panchayat level to operate as independent Digital Service Providers (DSPs) providing high speed broadband access across UP. The initiative, which is expected to include a significant number of women entrepreneurs will connect over 2 million households in the next 2–3 years and generate direct and indirect employment for more than 100,000 individuals. It will boost the governments initiatives of expanding digital education and healthcare. DSPs will receive structured support including training, financing assistance, network build-out and technology enablement.

The initiative aligns with the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s digital vision to improve access to digital education, healthcare and government services, while enabling MSMEs and enterprises with reliable, high-speed connectivity. By empowering local entrepreneurs, the program will strengthen service delivery and ensure affordable digital access for underserved communities.”

The initiative aims to build a resilient digital ecosystem supporting broadband, IPTV, OTT, CCTV, satellite internet and cybersecurity solutions for households, businesses and public institutions.
