Mumbai : Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) students from Mumbai have once again demonstrated exemplary performance in JEE Main 2026 (Session 1), reflecting the continued academic excellence of the region.
As per the results declared on 16 February by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Sahil Pradhan from the Borivali branch emerged as the top performer from Mumbai with an outstanding 99.99 percentile.
Adding to the stellar performance, Jeet Vora from the Borivali branch secured 99.87 percentile, marking a remarkable achievement in the 1-Year Classroom Program. Dhwaj Jain achieved an impressive 99.79 percentile, while Shiv Tiwari secured 99.45 percentile, further reinforcing the branch’s strong academic results.
Commenting on the student’s accomplishments Dr. H R Rao Chief Academic and Business Head, Aakash Educational Services Limited, said: “The exceptional results of our students from Mumbai is a testament to their commitment to academics, as well as the strength of the Aakash educational ecosystem. We are extremely proud of their hard work and congratulate them on their accomplishments. We wish them continued success in their future endeavours.”
Many of the students attributed their success to self-discipline, consistent practice, rigorous training, timely mentoring, and regular assessments. Through a structured curriculum, guidance from qualified instructors, and regular simulated tests, they were able to maintain focus, identify weaknesses early, and steadily improve their performance.
JEE Main, which offers two opportunities during the year, allows students to improve upon their previous scores and serves as the gateway for admission into NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes. It also acts as the qualifying examination for JEE Advanced, the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
