A transformative Programme for students and early stage career professionals looking to lead in the AI era, certified by BITSoM, one of India’s premier business schools

PAN India : Masai, India’s leading job-tech institute, has announced the launch of two Specialised Programmes—Product Management with Agentic AI, and Business Analytics & Decision Making with Generative AI—in collaboration with BITS School of Management (BITSoM). These Programmes are tailored exclusively to integrate the disruptive power of AI with practical product and business thinking- enabling professionals to stay future-ready in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

India faces a staggering skill gap, with reports estimating that over 80-90 million workers will need to be upskilled by 2030 to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving economy. As AI continues to disrupt industries—from healthcare and finance to retail and manufacturing—AI literacy is no longer optional; it is foundational for future employability. Professionals who understand how to leverage tools like Generative and Agentic AI will be better positioned to drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and create value in their organizations. This makes scalable, high-quality, and accessible Programmes like this launched by Masai and BITSoM not just timely—but essential to preparing India’s workforce for the future.

These six-month weekend-only, part-time Programmes are designed for students, working professionals, early-stage product managers and business analysts, and career-switchers seeking to build AI-integrated products and lead innovation in their organizations. These courses are certified by BITSoM and designed by top industry practitioners and faculty, blending academic excellence with real-world relevance.

As part of the Programme launch, BITSoM hosted a Faculty Symposium on July 26, 2025, at the Centre for Executive and Professional Development (CEPD), Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai, Mumbai. Themed “Launch of Online Certificate Programmes by BITSoM CEPD in Partnership with Masai School,” the symposium brought together faculty, academic leaders, and EdTech stakeholders to share insights, research, and innovations in AI-powered education.

The spotlight of this prestigious event was the convergence of academia and cutting-edge AI, showcasing how top institutions are responding to the digital transformation of education and business. The Symposium also sparked discussions on how AI is transforming the business landscape across sectors—not just in tech-first startups, but also in traditional industries now actively embracing AI adoption. Established companies are increasingly seeking professionals who can bridge business acumen with AI expertise to lead this transition from within. The day included a keynote address by Dr. Saravanan Kesavan, Dean of BITSoM, a comprehensive Programme walkthrough by Masai School, and a closed-door roundtable featuring renowned faculty members and EdTech thought leaders. The symposium provided a platform for deep academic exchange, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and strategic collaboration.

Prateek Shukla, Co-founder and CEO of Masai, said, “With Generative AI and Agentic AI redefining how products are built and decisions are made, future leaders must be fluent in both technology and business strategy. This partnership with BITSoM empowers professionals to lead at that intersection. While existing Programmes in this space serve 100–150 learners at a time—often at prohibitively high fees—we are designing for scale and impact. Our Programme is not only far more affordable, but built to train thousands of learners at once, without compromising on quality. Even with larger cohorts, students will receive tutorial support from industry mentors and work on real-world projects to gain hands-on experience.”

The Programme is targeted at students, recent graduates, early professionals, and career-switchers with or without Tech background. With these courses, learners will gain a strong foundation in product strategy, business problem-solving, and customer-centric thinking, while learning how to effectively leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI tools to supercharge product development, decision-making, and innovation.

Dr Saravanan Kesavan, Dean and Professor – Operations, BITSoM, added, “BITSoM is committed to nurturing future-ready leaders who can combine technological fluency with business insight. This partnership is not just about adding another certificate Programme—it’s about creating meaningful scale, without compromising academic rigor. We’re bringing together the best of national and international faculty—experts known not only for their subject mastery but also for their pedagogy and communication skills.

With this launch, Masai continues to expand its portfolio of industry-aligned Programmes, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, outcomes-driven education. Applications for the AI & ML Programme are now open on the Masai School website.
