Mumbai: Oxford International India partnered with Make-A-Wish India to support children battling critical illnesses like leukemia, and bring moments of joy into their lives. As part of the CSR initiative, Oxford International India helped fulfil wishes by donating laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and a cricket set. The wish gifts were personally handed over to the children by Oxford India’s Vice President, Ms. Prerna Upadhyay and OIEG’s Director of Global Admissions, Mr. Aaron Gibbons.

In addition to receiving their wish gifts, the children also became part of Oxford International India’s monthly Rhythm and Pulse engagement programme. Designed as a wellbeing-led initiative, Rhythm and Pulse brings together music, movement, and mindfulness to create moments of joy, emotional release, and connection. The programme is rooted in the belief that music has the power to uplift moods, ease stress, and foster a sense of togetherness. Conducted in collaboration with Melobee School of Music, the sessions feature simple rhythmic activities, light movement, and interactive musical experiences that encourage free participation, irrespective of age or ability. Through Rhythm and Pulse, Oxford International India extends its commitment to holistic wellbeing beyond the workplace, using creative expression as a way to nurture positivity, resilience, and shared happiness.

Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Pooja Vaswaney, Employee Experience Partner, Oxford International India, said, “Being part of this initiative was deeply moving for all of us at Oxford International. Every detail of today was guided by one purpose – to make the children and their families feel supported, celebrated, and hopeful. We are grateful to Make-A-Wish for trusting us with this meaningful partnership and for allowing us to play a small role in creating memories that will stay with these children for a lifetime.”

The programme featured inspiring addresses from Mr. Dhruv Pandey, CEO, Make-A-Wish India, who spoke about the foundation’s global origins and its impactful journey in India, how a single wish can bring hope and emotional strength to children and their families. Mr. Mohit Gambir, Managing Director, Oxford International India, shared encouraging words, applauding the resilience of the children and reaffirming Oxford International’s commitment to meaningful social initiatives.
