Cars24 today announced the acquisition of Vehicle Info, one of India’s most widely used automotive utility applications, as the company moves closer to building the country’s first full-stack vehicle ownership platform.

While the automobile ecosystem has traditionally focused on buying and selling vehicles, the everyday reality of ownership lies in the years in between. From checking insurance validity and tracking challans to monitoring FASTag balance and staying compliant with vehicle documentation, millions of vehicle owners manage multiple fragmented services across platforms.

Vehicle Info was built to solve exactly this problem.

Founded by Chirag Pipaliya, the platform emerged from a simple but powerful question: What is the single biggest problem of a car owner? Not the purchase. Not the sale. But managing everything that happens during ownership.

Chirag, who grew up in a small village near Bhavnagar in Gujarat and studied in a government school, built the product from Surat without access to venture capital or a large startup ecosystem.
