Mumbai: Allcargo Logistics Limited, operating Domestic Supply Chain business houses, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics has announced the appointment of Amit Chhari as Chief of Operations – Express. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s operations strategy, driving network expansion, enhancing logistics operations, and improving process excellence across the express business.

With nearly two decades of experience in operations and logistics transformation, Amit Chhari brings deep expertise in B2B express logistics, network strategy, P&L management, automation, and large-scale operational expansion. At Allcargo Logistics, he will focus on improving operational efficiency, scaling network capabilities, optimizing costs, and strengthening service reliability to deliver superior customer experience and sustainable profitability.

Prior to joining Allcargo Logistics, Amit served as Vice President – B2B Operations at Xpressbees, where he led business turnaround initiatives, nationwide network expansion, and digital transformation projects. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Rivigo and Safexpress, where he was instrumental in driving network redesign, transit optimization, ERP implementation, and strengthening last-mile delivery capabilities.

Amit holds a Master of Technology in Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from CTAE, Udaipur.
