• Inaugurates its biggest Hyderabad showroom at HITEC City, the 30th new’R store

Bengaluru: Renault India, the wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, today announced the start of customer deliveries of the new Renault Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160. As part of its continued expansion of its retail network across the country, the company also inaugurated its latest new’R store at HITEC City, Hyderabad.

The first delivery of the SUV took place through the newly inaugurated showroom, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey in the country. The key of the first Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 was handed over to Mr. T Krishna Gopal, CEO Eduzi Academy by Mr. Francisco Hidalgo – VP, Sales and Marketing, Renault Group India.

Hyderabad has emerged as a key market for the Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160, ranking among the top cities in India for bookings of the newly launched model. One of India’s leading technology and innovation hubs with a growing base of technology-oriented consumers and early adopters of advanced mobility solutions, it is a natural fit for the Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160.

Speaking on the occasion, Francisco Hidalgo, VP-Sales & Marketing, Renault Group India, said, “During our planning phase, we set ourselves an ambitious target: to bring the Duster Hybrid to customers in less than a year, in time for the festive season. We are proud to have delivered on that promise, and we begin handing over the Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 to our customers around Diwali. The strong response since launch reflects growing acceptance of hybrid technology in India. Our commitment, however, goes beyond the product. Hyderabad is an important market for us, and with the new’R store we are building a best-in-class buying and ownership journey, so that every customer enjoys the same standard of experience at the showroom and in service as they do behind the wheel.”

Renault’s globally acclaimed strong hybrid E-Tech 160 made its debut in India on October 17, 2026, on the Duster at a starting price of INR 16.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bringing together the company’s proven hybrid expertise and the iconic SUV’s capability, practicality and versatility, it is the brand’s first product under its electrification journey in India, part of the futuREady roadmap, and marks the start of the strong-hybrid era in the country.

The new’R store at HITEC City, where the first delivery took place, is spread across 7,000 sq ft and has a display capacity for eight cars, making it Renault’s biggest showroom in Hyderabad. It is the 30th new’R Store for Renault India in the country.

With this opening, Renault is further developing its partnership with VVC Group, one of the region’s respected business houses. The new facility is the third Renault showroom operated by the group, which also runs two Renault workshops in the city.

Renault’s new’R store format is a global automotive showroom concept that reimagines customer experience by placing vehicles at the heart of space. Designed around Renault’s contemporary global identity, it offers a modern, immersive and customer-centric environment across the purchase and ownership journey, a fitting setting for the brand’s first electrified product in India. It is a key part of Renault India’s broader retail transformation strategy.

Renault India plans to upgrade all its showrooms across the top 24 cities, which together contribute nearly half of the company’s sales, to the new’R store format by July 2027. Of the 73 showrooms operating across these cities, 30 have been upgraded.
