Mumbai : Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), one of India’s leading City Gas Distribution (CGD) companies and Fourth Partner Energy Pvt. Ltd. (FPEL), one of India’s leading renewable energy developer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly explore opportunities for generation and supply of Renewable Energy solutions primarily to commercial and industrial customers within MGL’s geographical areas. The MoU was signed by Mr Manas Das VP (BD, STU, Commercial and BIS), MGL and Mr Jay KumarWaghela CEO (Distributed Business), FPEL in the presence of Mr Praveer Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director, MGL; Mr Ajay Sinha, Deputy Managing Director, MGL and Mr Saif Dhorajiwala Co-Founder & ED of FPEL.
The collaboration aims to evaluate and develop clean and sustainable energy solutions for businesses, in line with the growing demand for environmentally responsible energy alternatives and India’s transition towards a greener economy.
Under the MoU, both companies will jointly assess opportunities in renewable energy generation and supply, leveraging their respective expertise and capabilities to cater to the evolving energy requirements of commercial and industrial consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Praveer Kumar Srivastava Managing Director, Mahanagar Gas Limited said, “This collaboration with FPEL reflects MGL’s continued focus on expanding its clean energy portfolio and contributing towards sustainable development through innovative and environmentally friendly energy solutions.
