Mumbai: SBI Pension Funds, one of India’s leading pension fund managers under the National Pension System (NPS), has crossed ₹6 lakh crore in Assets Under Management (AUM), while serving over 1.85 crore subscribers across government, corporate and retail segments. The milestone reflects the growing confidence of millions of subscribers and reinforces the company’s leadership position, with over 34% market share in India’s pension fund industry.
The achievement marks an important milestone not just for SBI Pension Funds, but for India’s evolving retirement ecosystem. As awareness around retirement planning continues to grow, the National Pension System has emerged as a key pillar of long-term financial security, enabling millions of Indians to build retirement savings through a regulated, transparent and portable framework.
The company’s growth has been underpinned by sustained subscriber trust over the years. From crossing ₹1 lakh crore AUM in 2018 to reaching ₹6 lakh crore today, each milestone reflects the increasing adoption of retirement planning and the confidence placed in SBI Pension Funds by millions of subscribers across the country. Over the last 15 years, SBI Pension Funds’ AUM has grown at a compounded growth rate of nearly 36%.
