The doctor-led metabolic health platform brings its digital-first care model into a physical space, as it works towards its goal of reaching 100,000 patients over the next 36 months
Mumbai: MetaGO, the doctor-led metabolic health platform founded by the team behind Ketto, today announced the launch of its first physical care centre in Mumbai. The centre extends MetaGO’s digital-first model into an in-person format, giving members the option to consult doctors, undergo diagnostics and engage with health coaches at a physical location, alongside the platform’s existing online consultations, home delivery of medication and WhatsApp-based coaching.
MetaGO plans to open additional centres in other cities, including Bangalore, by the end of 2026, as part of its broader effort to expand access to doctor-led metabolic care across India.
The centre launch comes as MetaGO continues to scale its omnichannel care model, in which members begin with a metabolic assessment and blood test, choose between a digital or in-clinic doctor consultation, and are then supported through ongoing coaching, monthly doctor reviews and quarterly blood tests. The company said the physical centre is designed to serve members who prefer in-person consultations and diagnostics as part of their treatment journey.
Commenting on the launch, Kunal Kapoor, Co-Founder, MetaGO, said: “When we started MetaGO, we wanted to address a gap we had seen for years. People often seek help for metabolic conditions only after they have progressed. We believe the future of metabolic health lies in identifying risks earlier and supporting people through continuous, personalised care, rather than relying on episodic consultations.
Our first physical centre in Mumbai is an important step in making that model more accessible. It brings together doctors, diagnostics and health coaching under one roof, while complementing the digital care we already provide. As we expand to Bangalore and other cities, our focus will remain on building a care model that is consistent, clinically led and accessible to more people across India.”
Varun Sheth, Co-Founder & CEO, MetaGO, added: “The launch of our first physical centre marks an important milestone in MetaGO’s growth journey. We have built a strong foundation through our digital-first model, and the addition of physical centres will allow us to deepen our presence in key markets while creating a scalable omnichannel business. Our current ARR stands at ₹12 crore and is expected to double this year. We are investing in expanding our team, technology, and physical footprint to support the next phase of growth. Our ambition is to reach 100,000 patients over the next 36 months, with expansion into Bangalore and other high-potential markets playing a key role in that journey. ”
Built for adherence, not just access
Since its launch, MetaGO has been approached by over 1,000 patients, with more than 3,000 people currently at various stages of assessment, enrolment or treatment. The company has reported member retention of 85-90%, compared to an industry average of 40-45% dropout within the first three months of GLP-1 treatment, which it attributes to combining medical supervision with structured coaching and regular follow-ups.
MetaGO’s clinical care and coaching plans start at approximately ₹24,000 annually, with medication charged separately depending on what doctors prescribe. The company has also partnered with Bajaj Finance to offer financing options to members.
At the new Mumbai centre, members can undergo blood tests, meet endocrinologists, diabetologists, cardiologists or internal medicine specialists in person, and consult with health coaches, as part of the same continuous care model that is otherwise delivered digitally.
Rather than positioning itself solely around GLP-1 therapies or weight management, MetaGO’s model is built around broader metabolic health, with medication forming one component of a longer-term care journey. The platform combines diagnostics, medical supervision, health coaching and ongoing monitoring to support members before, during and after treatment.
Rather than relying on episodic consultations, MetaGO follows a continuous care model where doctors, coaches and members remain connected throughout the programme. As members progress, treatment plans evolve with them, with the long-term focus shifting towards helping people maintain results rather than simply achieve them.
Scaling towards 100,000 patients
MetaGO has set an internal target of reaching 100,000 patients over the next 36 months. The company is expanding its panel of doctors and health coaches to support this growth, alongside the rollout of physical centres in Mumbai, Bangalore and other cities through the rest of 2026.
The company has also seen strong business momentum as it scales its metabolic health offering, with current ARR at ₹12 crore and expected to double by the end of 2026.
The expansion comes at a time when growing interest in GLP-1 therapies is contributing to the emergence of a broader healthcare ecosystem around diagnostics, clinical monitoring, nutrition, adherence and long-term lifestyle management. MetaGO is positioning its integrated care model to address this wider need, rather than focusing solely on medication.
