National: Cleartrip, a Flipkart company and one of India’s fastest growing online travel platforms, has released a bold and humorous ad film for its Big Billion Days (BBD) 2026 campaign that completely reimagines traditional travel advertising. Instead of celebrating who’s going on vacation, the brand uses satire and anthropomorphism to show who’s not happy about it – the birds.
In focus is the AI-generated ad film that highlights a conference room full of birds gathered to complain how humans are flying off on holiday thanks to Big Billion Days deals. Each bird adds comic relief, from the peacock’s frustrated “mor offers, mor deals, not any mor please” to the crow’s lament about humans constantly flying away. The film uses wit and relatability to break through festive season clutter and capture consumer attention.
“This Big Billion Days, we’re not selling travel, we’re validating it. A peacock frustrated by ‘mor deals,’ employees disappearing from offices, everyday people in vacation gear on the metro aren’t random creative choices; they’re reflections of real consumer behaviour. In our AI-based film, we give the birds a point of view as they watch all the humans fly off for their holidays. AI helps us bring this unexpected, playful world to life in a visually distinctive way, while building on the spirit of Pura India Hoga Phurr,” said Pallavi Saxena, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, Cleartrip.
But the BBD play extends beyond the film. Cleartrip is executing a multi-platform campaign across metros, streets, print, and digital, with each activating the same core insight: travel is no longer aspirational; it’s essential.
