Management Commentary:

Commenting on the robust financial and operational performance for Q2FY27, Shri Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman and Managing Director of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd., said: “Against the backdrop of global economic deceleration, supply chain fragmentation, and geopolitical volatility, our Q2FY27 performance highlights the exceptional counter-cyclical strength and structural resilience of our business model. Driven by a robust YoY Toll Revenue growth of around 15%, our operations continue to benefit from inelastic traffic demand and effective tariff-linking mechanisms – as is reflected in steady growth in cashflow and thus distributions from InvITs.” Elaborating on the road ahead and the broader macroeconomic alignment, Shri Mhaiskar added: “Our BEST strategy continues to reap benefits and release capital for growth – as we successfully transferred two more mature assets from our Private InvIT to the IRB InvIT Fund (Public InvIT) unlocking over ₹27Bn. This strategic capital recycling insulates our balance sheet from global credit tightening and provides us opportunities to explore new sectoral opportunities worth approximately ₹80Bn. Building upon the strong foundation of our ₹940Bn asset base, we remain firmly on track to achieve our strategic milestone of a ₹1,400Bn asset base by 2030, delivering sustainable, long-term value for all our stakeholders.”
